A Skeleton's Best Friend

Meet T-Bone our new Halloween pet.

T-Bone and Ol' Man Hinges hang out on the front porch
and greet our guests all through the month of October.

Some say, they have been seen taking a midnight stroll under the light of the moon?

You can meet our other Halloween Pets Here if you please.

Don't Forget Me!

I think a little someone has been feeling left out!
Since we are celebrating Pet Week at Nob Hill,
I must not forget to mention our all-year-round pet,
 Kilo!
We love you too Big Guy!

Although I'm not sure they fall in the pet category,
I have also included some of our other Halloween friends.

A Fine Flock of Feathered Friends

We have quite the collection of winged pets. Right around the last week of September our birds start to migrate in. Edgar, their leader usually leads the pack followed by his son Poe. They hang around for the month of October and when Halloween is over, head south for the winter.

This cute little guy is Hubert. My daughter Kenisha found him at the bottom of an overlooked barrel in a warehouse. Abandoned by his mother at a young age, he would have surely not made it very long. She scooped him up and brought him home, cleaned him up and nursed him back to health. He is now very happy and the ravens have accepted him in their pack as one of their own.

Last but not least of the flying friends is Ferdinand. We aren't exactly sure where he came from. One October morning he just showed up, and has been making the flight ever since. Don't let his small size fool you, he definitely holds his own with the others and has earned his spot in the flock.

Gargamel

Meet Gargamel. Our Halloween pet tradition started with him, he is our first and oldest pet. We adopted him into our home 8 years ago, when we found him sad and lonely on an empty grocery discount shelf. Those tiny beady eyes just stared right into our hearts, we couldn't leave him behind. His first weeks at home were a bit of a struggle. After many sleepless long nights, food allergy tests and vet visits we finally came to a conclusion. Gargamel is a vampire rat. He is doing very well now and enjoys his meals straight from the IV bag feeder.

His crooked whiskers are beginning to gray and his pitter-patter step is slowing down, but when you look into those deep black eyes you can still see his youthful strong spirit. We love you Gargamel!

Barry the Buzzard

I'd like you to meet Barry the Buzzard. He is a foreign Buzzard and came to us from the far away land of TaiPan. He has been with us for 2 years. He is quite friendly and was quickly accepted by all the other Halloween pets. We especially love his kind dark eyes and fluffy neck collar. This year, his cousin Vinny the Vulture was adopted into my sisters Halloween family and resides in Eagle Mountain. We are so grateful to have you both in our lives.

Barry likes to perch atop his cage, where he can easily watch over the front door and family room. He enjoys being the center of attention, and formally greets all our guests.

We love you Barry, and are glad you came to join our family!
