A couple months ago,
my dear friend asked me if I would plan a Hawaiian Luau to celebrate her and her sons upcoming birthdays.
Of Course! - I love a good reason to design a party.
What a fun project it turned out to be!
This beautiful young lady is the Birthday Girl herself.
She wanted her day to be filled with colorful island décor,
traditional Hawaiian Food, and of course family fun.
This lei basket welcomed the guests.
We used lanterns adorned with tropical flowers, pineapples and coconuts
atop fishing net for centerpieces on the outside tables.
We laced the patio with Tiki masks, garlands and paper lanterns.
We filled the serving tables with fun Hawaiian pieces.
'Cheddar' the Goldfish made his debut.
This handsome guy, had the big job of leading the way
and signaling the start of the much awaited performance.
These darling girls entertained all with a surprise dance just for Grandma.
I used the free printables from Here to make the skewer tags and Luau banner.
The kitchen island waiting to be filled with delicious food.
Nobody went home hungry!
Isn't she a doll!
Fun was had by all!
Happy Birthday sweet friend,
 as they say in Hawaii...

  1. Aloha Wendy..what a delightful commentary on our Hawaiian party!! We had sooo much fun and everyone was absolutely stunned at the beautiful decorations. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with me and my family, my dear friend! Mahalo!

  2. Wendy, you have an incredible talent & did an amazing job decorating, serving & just making it a fabulous day. The best part for me was that I could enjoy making all the food with my family, then sit back, relax & enjoy instead of running myself ragged decorating, serving then cleaning up. It was AWESOME & worth every penny!!!
